Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.Working in the Instrument Transformers & Sensors (ITS), Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) sales team, you will be working with internal teams to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.In this role, you will perform various product, system or service life cycle activities to assist in the development, launch, maintenance and profitability of instrument transformers, sensors, cutouts, switches and fuses in the Americas. The product specialist role is a mixture of product management and marketing.This position reports toProduct Marketing ManagerYour responsibilities

• Helping to resolve customer issues and development, which may involve visiting customer sites
• Contribute to the idea capture and definition of new product/system/service technical characteristics for product development, by providing specific expertise, coming also from existing portfolio
• Delivering training to internal teams and customers
• Product launch: Support the product/system/service development process from project specification to product/system/service launch Assists sales and marketing teams in the launch and selling of new products/systems/services
• Preparing reports on market, product and competitor activities for the sales and marketing team
• Working with others to define marketing plans and tools, while promoting sales activities
• Analysis: Prepares various analyses by market, product and competitors
• Collaborate with internal LBU (Local Business Unit) teams (that is manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain and logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction (example zero series support, cost monitoring) and portfolio executionYour background
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing or business management is preferred and minimum 2 years of experience in product management, engineering or business experience, working as a product specialist, product manager, application engineer, business development specialist or similar, with electrification products
  • Demonstrated experience of marketing and sales strategy
  • Solid understanding of electrical power systems and related applications and terminology with focus in utility and OEM markets
  • A collaborative, solution focused approach with strong communication, presentation and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage large amounts of competing priorities
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas and concepts and communicate them in technical and commercial terms as well as in layman's terms for end users
  • Up to 30% travel required, including possibly some international travel
