Position: Quality Assurance Specialist
Location: Wilson, NC 27893
Type: Contract, 12 months with possibility to extend

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality and compliance operations in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This contractor role will serve as a shared resource across two departments - one handling batch disposition and deviation management, and the other focused on compliance activities such as APRs, documentation, and change control approvals.

Qualifications:
B.S./B.A. degree in Science or Engineering (required)
Minimum 3 years of QA experience in a GMP pharmaceutical environment
Strong skills in SAP and Veeva (preferred)
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage timelines under pressure
Ability to generate, analyze, and trend data to improve operations

Key Responsibilities:
Batch record management, document retrieval, CoC/CoA generation
Batch review and domestic product release
QA support for investigations, audits, SOP development, and compliance initiatives
Participate in change control, quality system improvements, and project strategy meetings
Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and continuous improvement practices.
