We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven marketing strategist to
join the WebMD Ignite Activation team - a fast-paced, full-service
healthcare marketing agency. This role is ideal for a creative
thinker and analytical problem solver who thrives on developing
innovative marketing strategies that drive measurable results. As a
manager of consumer strategy, you will lead a small team and be
responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing
comprehensive marketing campaigns for healthcare clients across the
United States. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Lead goal
setting, brand positioning, channel strategy, and budget allocation
across your book of business. Lead consumer and B2B audience
development across print, digital, and marketing automation
platforms leveraging proprietary data, CRM, and digital best
practices. Analyze market research to identify trends,
opportunities, and target demographics. Partner with creative and
client teams to develop comprehensive creative briefs. Develop a
comprehensive marketing plan to ensure consistency and cohesion
across all channels and marketing platforms. Internal Collaboration
& Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central liaison between
departments, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across
teams on all things campaign related. Ensure seamless handoff of
comprehensive marketing plan to implementation teams. Work closely
with digital media teams to create strategies that amplify brand
visibility, engagement, and lead generation. Coordinate with web
and tracking teams to ensure marketing strategies are supported by
optimized digital experiences, including landing pages and user
journeys. Analyze performance data and work with channel
administrators to adjust strategies as needed. Client
Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing
and brand strategy as well as campaign planning for your book of
business. Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations.
Present campaign strategies and performance reports in a clear and
compelling manner. Build and maintain strong relationships to
foster trust and long-term partnerships. Innovation & Growth: Stay
updated on the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
Proactively identify new opportunities for clients to gain a
competitive edge. Contribute to agency growth by participating in
new business pitches and strategy sessions. Management: Coach and
mentor a team of up to three marketing strategists. Set and uphold
performance standards and conduct annual performance reviews.
Contribute to overall Ignite Activation leadership priorities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business,
Communications, or a related field. 5 years of experience in a
marketing strategy or similar role. Experience executing
omnichannel campaigns leveraging CRM, programmatic, SEM, social
media, traditional media, as well as marketing automation. Strong
understanding of omnichannel marketing tactics and best practices
especially when leveraging CRM and marketing automation tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a
fast-paced environment and with a strong eye for detail. Analytical
mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it
into actionable strategies. Experience in a management or mentoring
role. Ability to commute into the office 3 days per week. Preferred
Skills: Healthcare marketing experience is strongly preferred -
both consumer and HCP/B2B. Agency experience preferred. Experience
with digital reporting and business insights platforms like
Tableau, Looker Studio, Datorama, or other. Previous management
experience preferred.
