What you will do The Supply Chain Inventory Control Planner will part of the PBU Material Control team under the Global Operations organization. Programs through consolidated data analysis, maintaining data storage and access by designing databases and modifying ingeniously developed database systems specific to Delivery and Inventory Management. This role is expected to create an efficient and effective data analytical approach to drive cross-functional business insights. This role will promote a collaborative, data-driven environment and promoting Material Control excellence. How you will do it 1. Perform statistical analysis, build predictive models, and formulate decision models that relate operational activities to business results 2. Responsible to design, develop and deploy KPI's in support of all functional areas in the Material Control organization related to Inventory Control & Optimization. 3. Responsible for engaging with IT & ERP optimization partners to develop process and system interface to facilitate inventory control and inventory reduction activities. 4. Establish and develop systems which reinforce and encourage data based decisions to drive value stream enhancement and continuous improvement. 5. Responsible to maintain and develop reports running in different ERP's, MES and Business Intelligence databases. 6. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and break down high-level information into details, summarizing the findings to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs 7. Ability to interact with global teams to develop data analytics and facilitate interaction with business teams within supply chain. 8. Maintains effective working relationship and communication with plant personnel, and operations support organization. What we look for Required * Bachelor's degree (preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science) with two (2) to four (4) years experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing support (e.g., materials management, scheduling, continuous improvement, warehousing). APICS CPIM and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred. * Experience with Supply chain KPI's, database systems and warehousing. A student of best in class models and benchmarking standards. * Ability to perform complex technical systems analysis, evaluates IT systems and processes to develop and deliver cross functional and optimized supply chain solutions within a matrix structure. Able to prioritize and deliver on multiple in-flight projects at the same time. * Ability to manage multiple small to medium projects across multiple locations. * Employee has authority to make certain decisions within projects life cycle and contribute to functional area decisions. A self-starter that identifies supply chain innovation opportunities and drives them for improvement and reacts to requests for support with equal efficacy. * Comprehensive understanding of customer needs. Identifies and Interprets changes in customer requirements * Must be able to work seamlessly across multiple functions within the organization to understand requirements and lead change management in order to deliver an enterprise wide program. * Strong Interpersonal and team building skills * Ability to work across as well as upwards in the organization to champion change. Comfortable with a level of ambiguity and a willingness to make decisions based on the information at hand. * Experience working with demanding and complex internal and external customer requirements. The ability to be a resource to leadership for resolving fulfillment challenges. * Strong analytical background with exposure to supply chain practices and driving change. Technical Requirements: * Knowledge of ERP Systems (MacPac or SAP preferred) * Advanced Excel Skills * Ability to understand SQL, Access, Cognos, PowerBI or other reporting tools * Detailed oriented and accuracy drivenExternal and internal Customer satisfaction is a must As a condition of employment, you will be required on your first day of employment, to show written proof that you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
