Your work will have real-world impact, and youll be supported in achieving your career goals.The Sales and Operations Planner organizes all customer demand forecasts and related system updates to ensure adherence to contractual terms and accurate planning information for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). Manage medium and long-term Capacity/Supply plan based on the Demand plan (unrestricted demand). Proposes demand adjustments in a cost effective way and contribute to smooth order fulfilment process, by anticipating bottlenecks and preparing either capacity (equipment and labor). Maintains the capacity models and reports.Essential Functions:Gathers total demand chain planning input including customer forecast, customer interests, account plans, bids and development projects. Maintains demand-capacity models and reports.Manages Systems Applications and Products (SAP) demand chain planning input for commercial accounts in a timely and accurate manner in SAP.Recognizes forecasting trends and take appropriate actions to inform management as part of pre S&OP process. Translate the results of the S&OP process into an agreed supply and inventory plan, in consultation with the Sr. Manager Demand Supply Chain Management (DSCM).Performs rough cut capacity planning activities to include level loading. Performs rough-cut capacity check ensuring equipment, labor and raw materials have been evaluated.Balances demand and supply by highlighting capacity and other constraints or low utilization in the S&OP document within the 12-18 month range. Proposes solutions for capacity constraints.Manages the S&OP Process by thorough analysis of resources, correlate data and provide management with effective medium-term planning scenarios. Executes risk assessment and address capacity risks as input for continuous improvements.Report performance analysis on demand planning based on defined Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and targets prior to S&OP meeting. Participates in customer S&OP meetings.Works in a safe and responsible manner in order to create an injury-free and incident-free workplace. Complies with all job-related safety and other training requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Education:Bachelors degree is required.Experience:Two years of experience in Demand Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, Industrial Technology, or related field is preferred. Continuous improvement training (six sigma, lean, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), etc.) preferred.Equivalency :Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.Competencies:Good understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) information systems. Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills. Self-starter, mature, independent and dependable. Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and is results-oriented. Demonstrates ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Effective time management and prioritization skills. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Physical Requirements:Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.Disclaimer:This job description is intended to present the general content and requirements for the performance of this job.
