We are seeking a highly motivated Production Manager to join our team.
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing, sheet metal, and assembly processes of all our products. You will ensure the efficiency of the production lines, meeting quality standards and compliance with OSHA and safety standards. Your role will be critical to ensuring we deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the production process, including labor, equipment, tools, and materials
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the production team to ensure team members meet production schedules and hold them accountable for their performance
• Oversee all aspects of the punch/press/break etc. portions of manufacturing, including setup of machinery, programming, positioning, PM plans, training staff on applicable machines, etc.
• Ensure team members comply with OSHA, SC Mechanical, jobsite safety, and standard work policies and procedures
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines and address issues when they arise
• Analyze abnormal production indicators, draft reports, and implement improvement plans
• Collaborate with quality control, operations, and other staff to confirm ship dates and other pertinent information
• Ensure the production is organized in accordance with related quality documents in the production line
• Control production-related costs within budget and improve operational financial targets Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or above; Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • At least five years of related manufacturing experience, supervisory experience is a plus; HVAC experience is a plus
  • Extensive experience with tools, metals, and machines, specifically sheet metal pressing and cutting
  • Ability to operate a variety of tools, large machines, and specialty equipment, such as brakes, powdered folders, and slitters
  • Good understanding of shop math
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing/assembly/Sheet metal, 5S, and quality control principles
  • Ability to visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well in a global and multi-culture environment is preferred.
