Job Description:
Primary Talent Partners has a 12-month contract opening for a
Quality Assurance Specialist to join a multinational pharmaceutical
company for an onsite position operating out of Wilson, NC.

Pay: $40/hr - $45/hr
Contract: 12 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship

Job Description:
The Specialist, Quality Assurance supports key functions including
batch record management, documentation generation (Certificates of
Compliance and Analysis), review of batch records for domestic
release, and oversight of finished product conformance. This role
ensures compliance with regulatory standards by supporting
investigations, audits, SOP development, and supplier quality
initiatives. The QA Specialist must demonstrate leadership,
critical thinking, and the ability to work independently while
aligning with production timelines and site compliance
expectations.
Responsibilities: Retrieve and track site batch records, including
archiving, scanning, and filing.
Manage document retention logistics, including offsite storage and
destruction past retention periods.
Maintain accurate allocation and organization of Document Retention
Room capacity.
Assist in reconciling high/medium controlled print documents.
Prepare and provide Certificates of Compliance (CoC) and support
Certificate of Analysis (CoA) generation.
Track and process Registered Country Table (RCT) tender requests
and SAP allocations for global markets.
Review batch records and support release of intermediate/finished
products for domestic distribution.
Provide QA review and approval of GMP-related SOPs and support
continuous improvement of procedures.
Participate in defect resolution and ensure control of materials
throughout the plant.
Lead and support quality investigations, including root cause
analysis and corrective action implementation.
Contribute to Quality Master Data builds, maintenance, and PCR
strategy meetings.
Support implementation of new regulatory programs and divisional
initiatives.
Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities in
collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Maintain 5S compliance and promote workplace safety and incident
prevention.
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) required, preferably in
Science or Engineering.
Skills/Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a
GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Direct or indirect Quality Assurance experience, including batch
record reviews, investigations, complaints, or compliance
support.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, both written and
verbal.
Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time
management abilities.
Experience with information systems such as SAP and Veeva Systems;
capable of generating reports and analyzing data.
Able to independently manage data requests and trend analysis for
process improvement.
Adaptable and able to multitask under pressure while meeting
project deadlines.
Nice to Haves: Experience supporting audits, regulatory
inspections, and supplier quality programs.
Familiarity with 5S methodologies and Lean/Continuous Improvement
practices.
