Associate within our Retail Operations department. As a vital part
of the PetSmart family, you will play an integral role in
delivering superior customer and pet shopping experiences. Your
role will enhance the lives of pets by pairing pet parents with the
services, products, and essentials they need. This position calls
for a pet lover with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong
commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Greet
customers and assist them by answering product and service
questions; suggest information about other products and services.
Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance
drawers. Enhance pets' and pet parents' lives by accurately
identifying their needs and directing them to the appropriate
products or services. Maintain store’s visual appearance in high
standards and ensure merchandise is stocked and presented well.
Participate in training and meetings to enhance skills and stay
updated on company’s offerings and industry trends. Manage and
provide care for pets on sale in the store. Excellent customer
service and communication skills Basic understanding of sales
principles and customer service practices Proficient in managing
monetary transactions Ability to learn about pet-related products
and services Comfortable handling pets of various sizes and breeds
Medical Insurance 401k Certifications in pet care or training are
advantageous but not required.
