Job Description Excel Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required. Traveler Experience: Required UNLESS traveler has more than 24 months of cardiac experience. Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Sheath Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management Certs: BLS & ACLS, NIHSS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Arterial line management, Wound Care/Wound Vac, and Charge Experience JOB DETAILS: Ratios: Varies per Acuity.
